What do we inspect?

Rocket Valley Home Inspections follows the InterNACHI Standards of Practice. This list is a minimum and not all encompassing. The home inspector will go above and beyond the minimum SOP requirement when or if the inspectors deems safe to do so with out risk of damage to the home, home owners belongings, or injury to the inspector.

Our home inspectors go through the home from top to bottom looking at hundreds of different pieces that make up all the systems of the home during the course of the home inspection.

Exterior

  • Exterior wall-covering
  • eaves, soffits, and fascia
  • Exterior of windows
  • Exterior doors

  • Adjacent walkways and driveways
  • Stairs, steps, stoops, stairways, and ramps
  • Porches, patios, decks, balconies and carports
  • Railings, guards and handrails
  • Vegetation, surface drainage, retaining walls and property grading

Basement, Foundation, Crawlspace, and Structure
